House Rules

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT PROCEDURE

Guest Services will reach out to each guest the day of arrival to walk them through the check-in procedure. Check-in is no earlier than 4 PM. Check-out is always no later than 10 AM, unless prior approval is given by Guest Services Management.  Guests may be charged an additional one-half (1/2) day charge for an unapproved late departure.

DEPOSITS AND CANCELLATIONS

A one-nights deposit is taken the day of booking, and the remaining balance is charged the day of arrival. Guests must cancel at least 3 days prior to arrival to receive the one-nights deposit back. Any cancellations made within the 3-day window must forfeit the deposit. Deposits are non-transferrable. 


CLEANING POLICY

Daily housekeeping service will not be available during your stay. Additional cleaning can be scheduled for an extra charge. Upon request, we are happy to provide new or additional bath towels. Please call our office at 912-638-8661 and we will promptly have them delivered outside your door.


Prior to your departure, please make sure dishes are clean, trash has been disposed of in the trash cans provided in the parking garage, and floors have been swept of any excess sand. We want our visitors to enjoy the beach, however, please do your part in helping us keep the rooms clean and sand free. There is a hose on the walkway and a shower in the pool area to rinse off any sand before returning to your villa. An extra fee of $150 will be applied to rooms that require an extensive cleaning. 


PARKING

We allow one car per room, as we have a limited number of spots. One parking pass per room will be provided upon check-in. Any additional cars will have to park in public parking spots. Absolutely no trailers are permitted to be parked on Sea Gate property. 


SMOKING POLICY

Smoking is not permitted on Sea Gate property, in the villa, or on the balcony. If any signs of tobacco use or residue is found in the villa, there will be a $250 additional fee charged to the credit card on file. 


PET POLICY

We are happy to be a dog-friendly property. We allow one dog in the unit, with a weight limit of 60 lbs. Guest Services must be aware of any dogs accompanying travelers. There is a one-time, nonrefundable pet fee of $125. Dogs are always to be supervised and leashed while on property. You are responsible for any damages caused by your dog and will be charged accordingly. Dogs must be approved prior to arrival. If there are any signs of an unapproved pet in the room after departure, there will be a $250 charge. 




DAMAGE WAIVER

The damage waiver does NOT cover – and guests remain responsible for – intentional acts of destruction, theft, or negligence; damage caused by smoking (including smoking on balconies and around parking garage); damage caused by a pet brought onto the property by guest.


DEFICIENCIES 

Guests should report any maintenance, repair, or inventory deficiencies to Guest Services Management immediately upon arrival or no later than the next day. Sea Gate Inn will give no refunds for equipment, television, or appliance failures but shall make every effort to keep and maintain appliances and equipment in good working condition. Guests shall promptly report any problems to Guest Services. 


Personal Property: All personal property of guests inside or outside the villa is used at the risk of the guest and/or owner. Sea Gate Inn is not liable for any loss or damages of personal property in or about the villa.


OCCUPANCY

Premium King, Premium Queen, and Standard Queen villas have a max occupancy of four (4) people. Standard King villas have a max occupancy of two (2) people. Events, parties, or other gatherings that exceed the stated maximum occupancy for a property are strictly forbidden. Failure to comply shall be cause for eviction without refund. 


POOL TOWELS

Should you need fresh pool towels, they can be exchanged for new ones at Guest Services between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. daily. If we find towels are missing upon departure, a fee of $20 will be charged to the card on file. Please do not remove bath towels from your room at any time. 


POOL RULES 

Pool hours are 6:00 AM to sunset. Lifeguards are not provided. Guests are responsible for the safety of themselves, their children, and their guests. The pool is private and for the use of Sea Gate Inn guests only. No discounts or refunds will be issued for any pool malfunctions or closures.


WHAT TO EXPECT

All villas are furnished with: 

  • Starter supply of toilet paper, hand and body soap, shampoo & conditioner
  • Two rolls of paper towels
  • Starter supply of regular and decaf coffee
  • Two packs of powdered dish detergent and one container of dishwashing soap
  • Televisions and DVD players
  • Glassware, cookware, & flatware
  • Air conditioning & heating
  • Major appliances: full refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, dishwasher, toaster oven, 2-burner stove top, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, washer and dryer

Sea Gate Inn does not provide any beach chairs, umbrellas, or tents. Our guest services team is happy to recommend local companies to reach out to. 

Pack & Play’s are available upon request and at a first come, first serve basis. 

Sea Gate Inn does not provide laundry detergent or other basic groceries for the villas. 

Each villa has a utility closet where a broom, dustpan, plunger, and other supplies will be stored.

Please note that the villas DO NOT have a landline telephone.
